Mother's Room

This is the room in which Mother Teresa worked, rested and from where she left for her heavenly abode on the night of 5th September 1997. The room has been maintained as it was during her lifetime with the bed on which she slept and from which she went home to God, her desk, a table with two benches, a wooden cabinet and the original pictures on the wall, which are now encased for the purpose of preservation.
