The Missionaries of Charity, a congregation of religious sisters, was founded by Mother Teresa in Calcutta in 1950.
The Missionaries of Charity (Sisters of Mother Teresa) today serve the poorest of the poor in 138 countries.

Please be informed that the Missionaries of Charity do not solicit donations or engage in any fundraising activities using the name, likeness or words of Mother Teresa. Following the example and teaching of Mother Teresa, we depend entirely on God’s providence through the free will offerings made by generous donors who wish to support our worldwide service to the poorest of the poor.
