Relief

“The poverty of the poor must be often so hard for them.”  – Mother Teresa
In times of calamities or disasters such as famines, earthquakes, floods, fires, or civil unrest, the Sisters provide support by offering food, drinking water, clothes, blankets, utensils, tarpaulin, and other necessary household items to those affected. They also assist the poorest families with dry or cooked food, medical care, educational help such as school fees, housing support like rent or repair materials, travel aid for migrants and the unemployed, funeral and marriage expenses, self-employment assistance, and rehabilitation support.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have been actively assisting affected families, particularly in rural areas, by providing dry rations, daily cooked food, medical help for abandoned and sick individuals, and distributing essential items like soap, sanitizers, and bags. We have also supported with house rent, repairs, school fees, clothing, travel expenses, and hospital charges.
