“We ourselves feel that what we are doing is
just a drop in the ocean. But if that drop was
not in the ocean, I think the ocean will be less
because of that missing drop.”
Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa encouraged all those who desired
to contribute to her work among the poor to be,
if possible, directly involved in the service of
the poorest of the poor by giving “their hands to
serve, and their hearts to love.” She invited
them to get involved in volunteering in one of
our houses. Though this is desirable, it is not
always possible.

Mother Teresa also welcomed the free will
offerings from goodhearted and generous
benefactors, on which we fully rely as we do not
fundraise, nor receive any income or grants for
our service to the poorest of the poor.

If you feel moved to participate, please contact
one of our houses to see how you can be of help
or if you feel moved to make a free will offering, please
